Ingredients

  • 4 cups corn (fresh, frozen, or canned)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for topping (like parsley or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the corn, heavy cream (or milk), sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Fold in 1 cup of shredded cheese and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and the remaining cheese in another bowl.
  6. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the corn mixture.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
