Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef medallions (filet mignon or sirloin)
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt, to taste

Instructions
- Heat the skillet: Place your skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and butter to create a bubbling mixture.
- Season the beef: Generously season the beef medallions with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Cook the medallions: Sear the beef in the hot skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Set the beef aside: Remove the medallions from the skillet and let them rest on a plate.
- Sauté the onions and garlic: In the same skillet, cook the onions and garlic until translucent and fragrant.
- Create the sauce: Add beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce, simmering gently.
- Coat the beef: Return the medallions to the skillet, coating them in the gravy.
- Serve: Plate the rice, drizzle with gravy, and place the beef medallions on top.
Notes
For a healthier twist, consider air frying the medallions. Pair with steamed vegetables or garlic bread for a complete meal.
