- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 2 tbsp butter
- Optional: garlic powder, black pepper, dried basil, chopped parsley, grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the Slow Cooker: Lightly grease the slow cooker insert with butter or oil.
- Layer the Ingredients: Add the diced tomatoes, chicken or vegetable broth, and diced onion to the slow cooker.
- Incorporate the Butter: Stir in two tablespoons of butter.
- Set Your Cooker: Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Introduce the Noodles: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the egg noodles.
- Season to Taste: Adjust the seasoning with black pepper or garlic powder as desired.
- Garnish Your Bowls: Sprinkle dried basil, chopped parsley, or grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
