Instructions

  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker: Lightly grease the slow cooker insert with butter or oil.
  2. Layer the Ingredients: Add the diced tomatoes, chicken or vegetable broth, and diced onion to the slow cooker.
  3. Incorporate the Butter: Stir in two tablespoons of butter.
  4. Set Your Cooker: Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  5. Introduce the Noodles: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the egg noodles.
  6. Season to Taste: Adjust the seasoning with black pepper or garlic powder as desired.
