Ingredients

- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 12 oz egg noodles
- Optional spices: garlic powder, black pepper, dried parsley
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Lightly grease the slow cooker insert to prevent sticking.
- Place the chicken evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 270–300 minutes or HIGH for 150–180 minutes until the chicken is tender.
- Remove the chicken and shred it with two forks.
- Stir in the fresh broccoli florets and uncooked egg noodles.
- Cover and cook for an additional 30–45 minutes until noodles are tender.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients into the creamy sauce.
- If desired, sprinkle your meal with shredded cheddar cheese or parsley.
- Serve warm in bowls.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use chicken thighs instead of breasts. Allow chicken to fully absorb flavors by shredding it into the sauce.
