Description

A creamy and comforting dish featuring tender chicken, vibrant broccoli, and egg noodles, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • Optional spices: garlic powder, black pepper, dried parsley
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the slow cooker insert to prevent sticking.
  2. Place the chicken evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 270–300 minutes or HIGH for 150–180 minutes until the chicken is tender.
  5. Remove the chicken and shred it with two forks.
  6. Stir in the fresh broccoli florets and uncooked egg noodles.
  7. Cover and cook for an additional 30–45 minutes until noodles are tender.
  8. Stir well to combine all ingredients into the creamy sauce.
  9. If desired, sprinkle your meal with shredded cheddar cheese or parsley.
  10. Serve warm in bowls.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use chicken thighs instead of breasts. Allow chicken to fully absorb flavors by shredding it into the sauce.
