Ingredients

- Tomato sauce

- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the skillet: In a large skillet, pour in a generous splash of olive oil and turn the heat to medium.
- Sauté aromatics: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onions turn translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
- Brown the sausage: Remove casing from the Italian sausage and add the meat to the skillet. Break it up as it cooks, browning for about 5-7 minutes.
