- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked through, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain excess fat if necessary, then stir in the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Combine the frozen tater tots, sausage mixture, and shredded cheddar cheese in a large mixing bowl, stirring gently.
- Transfer the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until fully combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the casserole to ensure it seeps between all layers.
- Bake uncovered for 60–70 minutes or until the eggs have set and the top is golden brown.
- Let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
