Ingredients
Scale
- Pudding:
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fruits:
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- Whipped Topping:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Graham Cracker Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
- In a saucepan, whisk together the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens and bubbles, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Allow the pudding to cool slightly.
- Layer the pudding over the cooled crust, followed by a layer of sliced bananas and diced pineapple.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the fruit layer.
- Chill the pudding in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- This dessert can be made a day in advance; just keep it covered in the refrigerator.
