Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix together the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Stir in the rolled oats until the mixture is well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into a lined 8×8 inch baking dish to form a compact base.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  5. Combine the powdered sugar and vanilla extract with the melted chocolate until uniform.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture over the oat layer and spread evenly.
  7. Chill the dish in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to firm up.
