- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups rice, for serving

Instructions
- Season the beef generously with salt and pepper.
- Sear the beef in a hot pot until golden brown on all sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove the beef and sauté garlic and onion in the same pot until tender, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the beef to the pot and add soy sauce and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Cover and reduce heat to low, simmering for 2-3 hours until the beef is tender.
- Serve over a bed of fluffy rice and garnish with fresh herbs.
