Description

Deliciously light and garlicky breadsticks made with cottage cheese and mozzarella, perfect for a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (120 ml | 110 g)
  • 1 large egg (≈50 ml | 55 g without shell)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (120 ml | 56 g)
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp garlic powder (2.5 ml | 1.5 g)
  • Optional: pinch of salt (0.5 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Blend the cottage cheese in your blender or food processor until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the egg, shredded mozzarella, garlic powder, and salt to the blended cottage cheese; stir until combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the lined baking tray and spread it into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and the center has set.
  6. Remove from the oven and cut into sticks while warm; serve immediately.

Notes
