Deliciously light and garlicky breadsticks made with cottage cheese and mozzarella, perfect for a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup cottage cheese (120 ml | 110 g)
- 1 large egg (≈50 ml | 55 g without shell)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (120 ml | 56 g)
- Optional: 1/2 tsp garlic powder (2.5 ml | 1.5 g)
- Optional: pinch of salt (0.5 g)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Blend the cottage cheese in your blender or food processor until smooth and creamy.
- Add the egg, shredded mozzarella, garlic powder, and salt to the blended cottage cheese; stir until combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the lined baking tray and spread it into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and the center has set.
- Remove from the oven and cut into sticks while warm; serve immediately.
Notes
Enjoy with marinara sauce, soups, or salads. Can be customized with herbs and spices.
