Ingredients

- 2 cans (21 oz each) sugar-free apple pie filling (or fresh peeled apples)
- 1 ½ cups fresh apples, peeled and diced (optional)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 box (15.25 oz) sugar-free yellow cake mix
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar-free sweetener
- 12 tablespoons butter, thinly sliced (or vegan butter)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- Pour the apple pie filling into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle the ground cinnamon generously over the apple layer.
- Sprinkle the sugar-free yellow cake mix evenly over the apple filling—do not stir.
- Distribute the butter slices over the top of the cake mix.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Serve with sugar-free whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra treat. Can be prepared ahead of time.
