Description

Deliciously seasoned beef wrapped in soft flatbread, paired with a creamy feta dill sauce and fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 4 large flatbreads or pita breads
  • Thinly sliced red onions
  • Optional cucumber-tomato salad
  • Fresh parsley or dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook Greek Beef: Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add minced onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until translucent. Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Make Feta Dill Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, crumbled feta, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, fresh dill, and black pepper. Stir until creamy.
  3. Warm Flatbreads: Place flatbreads in a dry skillet over medium heat, warming for about 30 seconds per side.
  4. Assemble Wraps: Spread feta dill sauce on warm flatbreads. Top with seasoned beef, sliced red onions, and optional salad.
  5. Wrap & Serve: Fold flatbreads tightly around filling and serve immediately.

Notes

Make the feta dill sauce in advance to enhance flavors. Store individual wraps in the fridge for up to 3 days.
