- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion (finely diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella/colby mix)
- 1 (16 oz / 450 g) can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 large biscuits)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the onion until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Incorporate the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
- Cook the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until browned; drain excess grease.
- Melt in the shredded cheese until creamy; let cool slightly.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shape each biscuit dough into a circle about 4–5 inches wide.
- Fill each circle with 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture and seal the edges.
- Mix melted butter, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, and parsley for the topping.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture over each bomb.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Serve warm with marinara or ranch for dipping.
Notes
Customize fillings with different cheeses or veggies. Can be made ahead of time and stored for later baking.
