  • 2 tbsp garlic butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium carrots, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil and garlic butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced onion and garlic, sautéing until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the carrots and cook until tender.
  5. Add the shredded chicken and frozen peas, mixing well.
  6. If using, stir in the cheese until melted.
  7. Transfer the filling into a baking dish.
  8. Top with biscuit dough, arranging it evenly over the filling.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
