- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
- Gradually add the water and olive oil, stirring until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into equal portions; roll each into a flat circle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook each bread for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly golden.
- Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds on top while cooking.
- Serve warm with your favorite dips or meals.
Notes
Keep leftovers wrapped in a kitchen towel or store in an airtight container for up to three days. Can be frozen for longer storage.
