Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  2. Gradually add the water and olive oil, stirring until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions; roll each into a flat circle about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook each bread for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly golden.
  6. Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds on top while cooking.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dips or meals.

Notes
