- 2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) instant yeast
Instructions
- Activate the yeast by combining warm water and sugar, then sprinkle yeast over and let sit until frothy.
- Mix the dough by adding flour and salt, stirring until a sticky dough forms.
- Let it rise in a warm place covered for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Shape the dough into a loaf, place in a greased pan, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
