Description

Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, these foldovers offer a heavenly blend of flavors that ignite the senses.


Ingredients

  • Cottage Cheese
  • Garlic (freshly minced)
  • Butter (softened)
  • Bread (sourdough or French)
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Cheese (Mozzarella or your favorites)
  • Toppings of choice (pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Blend softened butter with minced garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Spread garlic butter over the slices of bread.
  4. Spread a layer of pizza sauce over the garlic butter.
  5. Spoon cottage cheese and toppings onto each slice.
  6. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Fold the slices over to create foldovers.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Customize the toppings as desired. Make ahead by preparing the garlic butter and slicing the bread in advance.
