Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture, then gradually mix in flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- While the dough rises, prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the cheesecake filling evenly, and roll it tightly into a log.
- Slice the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon for the coating, then sprinkle generously over the rolls.
