Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat the heavy cream and minced garlic in a saucepan over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Grease a baking dish with butter and layer half of the sliced potatoes.
  4. Pour half of the garlic cream mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the first layer.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheese.
  7. Dot the top with butter.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before serving and garnish with parsley.
