- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and let it warm up while you prep the ingredients.
- Grease your baking dish generously with butter to prevent sticking.
- Combine melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Toss potato slices in the garlic butter mixture until fully coated.
- Create layers of potatoes and cheese alternately in the baking dish.
- Pour heavy cream evenly over the stacked potatoes.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese generously on top.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the tops are golden.
- Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Prep your potatoes and garlic mixture the night before for convenience. For crispy edges, place the dish on the bottom rack of the oven during the last 10 minutes.
