- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 cups mixed frozen vegetables
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 3/4 cups cheddar cheese, divided
- 4 cups (16 oz) frozen tater tots
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and lightly grease your 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken stock, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Fold in the shredded chicken and frozen vegetables, followed by one cup of the cheddar cheese.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into your prepared casserole dish.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer atop the chicken mixture.
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until it bubbles.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top. Return it to the oven for an additional 5–10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare a day in advance and refrigerate. Increase baking time if needed. Can also be made in air fryer at 375°F for about 25 minutes.
