- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add chicken pieces, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook until chicken is browned and cooked through.
- In a separate pot, cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions.
- In the skillet with chicken, add heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and Cajun seasoning; stir to combine.
- Once the pasta is cooked, drain and add it to the skillet; mix well.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, increase the amount of Cajun seasoning.
- Can substitute chicken with shrimp for a seafood variation.
