- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna, drained
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- Mix the cooked noodles, drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, frozen peas, and grated cheddar cheese in a large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Prepare the topping by mixing breadcrumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle this mixture over the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Notes
Feel free to customize by adding other vegetables or substituting tuna with chicken.
