Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup diced tropical fruits (mango, pineapple, kiwi, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  4. Once bloomed, add the gelatin mixture to the warm cream mixture and stir until fully dissolved.
  5. Pour the mixture into cups and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Once set, top with diced tropical fruits before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and use agar-agar instead of gelatin.
