Description
Thai Basil Chicken (Pad Krapow Gai) is a flavorful and aromatic stir-fry dish made with ground chicken, fresh Thai basil, and a savory sauce, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

			- 1 lb ground chicken
 - 2 cups fresh Thai basil leaves
 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
 - 2–3 Thai bird’s eye chilies, chopped
 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
 - 1 tablespoon fish sauce
 - 1 teaspoon sugar
 - 1/2 cup bell pepper, sliced (optional)
 - Cooked jasmine rice, for serving
 
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
 - Add minced garlic and chopped chilies, sauté until fragrant.
 - Add ground chicken and cook until browned.
 - Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar.
 - Add bell pepper if using, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
 - Remove from heat and stir in fresh Thai basil leaves until wilted.
 - Serve hot over cooked jasmine rice.
 
Notes
- Adjust the number of chilies based on your spice preference.
 - For a vegetarian version, substitute ground chicken with tofu.
 - Serve with a fried egg on top for an authentic touch.
