- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley and basil)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Add olive oil, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread minced garlic and chopped herbs evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the garlic and herbs.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and pinch the seams to seal.
- Place the log in a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool before slicing.
