These Sweet & Savory Sloppy Joe Sliders are a delicious twist on the classic dish, perfect for parties or a cozy family dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp mustard
- 12 slider buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the slider buns on a baking sheet and spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the bottom half of each bun.
- Top with the other half of the buns and bake for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to add cheese on top of the sloppy joe mixture before baking for a cheesy version.
- These sliders can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar according to your taste.
