- 1 prepared pie crust
- 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 1 can (14 oz / ~395g) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the mashed sweet potatoes, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Transfer the filling into the prepared pie crust, smoothing it out.
- Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool the pie at room temperature before serving.
Notes
The filling can be prepared a day in advance. Store it in the refrigerator before pouring into the pie crust just before baking.
