  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned.
  4. Add the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix well.
  5. Stuff each bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  8. If using cheese, remove the foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
