Ingredients

  • 1 cup pound cake, cut into small cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries and granulated sugar. Let them sit for about 30 minutes to release their juices.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  3. In serving glasses, layer the pound cake cubes, followed by a layer of strawberries, and then a layer of whipped cream.
  4. Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  5. Garnish with mint leaves if desired and serve immediately.
