Description

A delightful dessert combining creamy chocolate and crunchy vanilla layers with fresh strawberries, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed strawberries
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup strawberry cake mix
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese with powdered sugar in a mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
  2. Fold in whipped cream and crushed strawberries gently to keep it light.
  3. Mix vanilla wafer crumbs, melted butter, strawberry cake mix, and granulated sugar in a separate bowl until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  5. Spread the strawberry cream cheese mixture evenly on top of the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the strawberry layer.
  7. Freeze for at least 240 minutes or until firm.
  8. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, use Neufchâtel cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
