- 4 large eggs
- Black food coloring (optional)
- Orange food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
- Divide the batter into two bowls. In one bowl, mix in the cocoa powder and black food coloring. In the other, mix in the orange food coloring.
- Pour alternating spoonfuls of the batters into the prepared bundt pan to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before removing it from the pan and decorating as desired.
Notes
- For a more intense color, add more food coloring as needed.
