Ingredients

  • 150g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the spinach until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sautéed spinach with crumbled feta cheese.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface.
  5. Spread the spinach and feta mixture evenly over the pastry.
  6. Roll the pastry tightly into a log and slice into 1-inch pieces.
  7. Place the swirls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
