Delightfully tart and spicy, these pickled eggs are infused with jalapeños and apple cider vinegar, creating a vibrant appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 jalapeños, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Combine apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, salt, black peppercorns, garlic powder, and onion powder in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until dissolved.
  2. Use a slotted spoon to carefully place hard-boiled eggs and sliced jalapeños into a clean jar, ensuring they fit snugly.
  3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the eggs, ensuring they’re completely submerged.
  4. Seal the jar tightly and allow to cool to room temperature, then transfer to refrigerator.
  5. Let eggs marinate for at least 24 hours for best flavor.
