- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying (if frying)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat oil for frying.
- Combine crab meat, cream cheese, cheddar, breadcrumbs, Cajun seasoning, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized poppers.
- Fry them in hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, or bake for 15-20 minutes on a lined baking sheet.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
You can make the mixture a day in advance. Avoid overmixing to maintain the crab’s texture.
