- 1 tablespoon heavy cream (as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and generously grease and flour a bundt pan.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl using a mixer until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Crack in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the mashed sweet potato, sour cream, Southern Comfort, and vanilla extract.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 60-75 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Whisk together the powdered sugar, Southern Comfort, and heavy cream in a bowl for the glaze.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack, then drizzle with the glaze.

Make the cake ahead of time and store it at room temperature for freshness. Glaze just before serving.
