- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine sliced bananas with sugars and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Mix melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a separate bowl.
- Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and top with sliced bananas.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and set.
- Serve warm, possibly with ice cream.
Notes
