  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix red wine vinegar, beef broth, onion, carrots, garlic, brown sugar, mustard, black pepper, salt, and bay leaves.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef roast on all sides until browned.
