Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sear the chicken in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer the seared chicken to the slow cooker.
- Add diced green chiles and chicken broth to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken once cooked and return it to the pot.
- Serve with optional toppings like cilantro, sour cream, or cheese.
