Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the beef chunks on all sides.
  2. Transfer the browned beef to the slow cooker.
  3. Add the carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture over the beef and vegetables in the slow cooker.
