    • Green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until well mixed.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove and let it cool completely.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  6. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and peppermint extract.
  7. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.

  10. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
