- 1 pound sausage
- 2 cups bread cubes
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add onions and celery to the skillet and cook until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, cooked sausage mixture, diced apples, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in chicken broth and mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top.

- For a vegetarian option, substitute sausage with plant-based sausage.
