Description
A delicious and sweet side dish featuring roasted acorn squash drizzled with a rich brown sugar butter.
Ingredients

- 1 acorn squash
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the acorn squash in half and scoop out the seeds.
- Place the squash halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Melt the butter and mix it with brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Brush the mixture over the cut sides of the squash.
- Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until tender.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For a caramelized effect, broil the squash for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- This dish pairs well with roasted meats.
