  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix warm milk, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and eggs.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and knead until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon for the filling.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling evenly, and sprinkle with nuts if using.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and slice it in half lengthwise.
  8. Twist the two halves together and place in a greased loaf pan.
  9. Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
