A delicious and spicy Piri Piri Grilled Chicken & Halloumi Burger that combines the flavors of grilled chicken and halloumi cheese for a delightful meal.
Ingredients

- 2 chicken breasts
- 200g halloumi cheese
- 2 tablespoons Piri Piri sauce
- 2 burger buns
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken breasts in Piri Piri sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Slice the halloumi cheese and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burger by placing the grilled chicken on the bottom bun, followed by halloumi, lettuce, and tomato.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the spiciness by using more or less Piri Piri sauce.
- Serve with a side of fries or a salad for a complete meal.
- Can be made with vegetarian patties instead of chicken for a vegetarian option.
