A deliciously unique grilled cheese sandwich featuring the sweet and spicy combination of pineapple and jalapeño.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1 jalapeño, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer cheese, pineapple, and jalapeño.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
- Once both sides are golden and the cheese is melted, remove from heat and slice.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of jalapeño to your spice preference.
- For a sweeter taste, use grilled pineapple.
- Serve with a side of salsa for dipping.
