Description
A delicious and rustic Pear & Almond Galette that combines sweet pears with a rich almond filling, all wrapped in a flaky pastry crust.

- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 3 ripe pears, sliced
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, sugar, softened butter, egg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Spread the almond mixture evenly over the pie crust, leaving a 2-inch border.
- Arrange the sliced pears on top of the almond mixture.
- Fold the edges of the pie crust over the pears, pleating as necessary.
- Brush the crust with the egg wash.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the pears are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Can be topped with whipped cream or ice cream for extra indulgence.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
