- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together maple syrup, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove wings from marinade and let excess drip off.
- Fry wings in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with extra sauce if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can double fry the wings.
- Adjust the amount of Sriracha based on your spice preference.
- These wings can also be baked in the oven for a healthier option.
