  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, softened butter, and egg to the dry ingredients; mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread with softened butter.
  7. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans over the butter.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  9. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
