Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine the water and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir gently until the sugar completely dissolves.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool completely.
- Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow dish, spreading it evenly, and freeze for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Scoop the fully frozen sorbet into bowls and serve.
